Want to meet other parents of toddlers

Hi everyone,
I am new to mumsnet so not sure if this is how it's done but am a mum of two - older one is nearly three, younger is three months. I'm on maternity leave and am finding it hard to amuse my older one. It would be great to meet other parents and toddlers for play dates in Milton park or Canoe Lake, in Southsea (or anywhere else in the area)

hey emster, welcome to mumsnet! i live really near to milton park, i presume you are in the same area! i have a 5 yr old, 3yr old and almost 2 yr old!

Hi Dustycups - I do live locally, about ten mins from Milton Park (more like half an hour toddler speed though!) No doubt we'll be up at the park a number of times next week as my daughter is currently obsessed with putting her dolly/teddy/giraffey on the swings!

yeah except we will be to, since the curly slide is back! i look out for you daughter pushing objects in a swing and you can look out for my 2 yr old little boy with very curly blonde hair!!!
