Anyone in Warsaw?

We've recently moved to Warsaw, just wondered if there was anyone else who lives here or around Poland. I'm fooling myself I think

I don't live in Warsaw but in Krakow (well, near it, in a field !) Only a 2 1/2 hr train ride away and a much prettier city if you fancy coming down for the day/weekend in the summer...

I don't go to Warsaw much but if you keep in touch, when I do I can look you up...

Have 2 DDs , almost 5 and 6.5 . I am English, DH Polish.

Well it's good to know I'm not totally alone

I thought it was a bit furthur than that, but sounds good for a little weekend break or something.
I've only visited Krakow once and liked the look of it.

OK that sounds good, I know English women are rare here lol. Warsaw isn't that attractive you're right.

I lived here before but in a tiny place so not much to do, moved back to England for 6 months, then to Warsaw. I am still adjusting. My Polish is appaling.

Same situation with me. I have to be extremely nosy politely ask how you met your DH?

he was my student at an English school when I was a TEFL teacher .

The train does only take around 2h40 and has got much cheaper since the introduction of the TLK and IR services (if money is an object, as it often is with me). By car it's a nightmare though - I hate it. Takes about 5 h.

how do you like the heatwave?? we live on a hill outside town so it's a couple of degrees cooler here - can't imagine what it must be like in the centre... they've just installed lovely run-through fountains on one of the squares, though, so the kids are always hankering to go.
