We are moving to Miami beach for a six-month period probably starting in October. Our girls are 6 and 8 and we are looking for public Elementary Schools. A flat is provided with the posting and we have a chance to influence the exact location so need to act quickly. I understand there are four public elementary schools in Miami Beach - Biscayne, North Beach, South Point and Fienberg Fisher. As it's for a short period and we will keep up with their UK school work we are not so worried about the academic side of things. Our main goals are that they should be happy, make a few friends and learn some Spanish. At the moment they attend a tiny rural school with only 70 pupils. Does anyone have any experience of schools in Miami Beach? Or any suggestions about the best area to live with kids?
