Hey guys

Just wanted to let you know I'm still here!
DH and I am trying to sort things out and are determined to stay for as long as possible. He's trying his hardest to reform and I've given him another chance. I've also built some amazing friendships and my career is finally on the up (about bloody time!!)

Soooo - I was wondering if anyone fancied a catchup? Any newbies around? I haven't seen Ninedragons for ages and after our last meeting think we require assistance in the bevvy department. (I don't remember getting home...think she ended up in a neighbours bush..etcetc)

I assumed you'd gone back home by now! I'm up for a girls night as long as it's in the city so I can get the train home - maybe I could finally get to meet Astrophe too after all these years!

We're North Turramurra; if you ever drive along Burns Road towards St. Ives you'll drive past our house. Maybe we should just meet for a beer in Hornsby RSL? Don't know where everyone else has gone.

Asquith Leages is just by Waitara station, funnily enough I was only introduced to it last week by a woman from Liverpool. It's similar to any club around here, but a bit closer to me than Hornsby RSL. Kids are welcome, "bistro" food is decent and reasonable, wine starts at $2 a glass and there is a courtesy bus!!! Might be a way to be able to go out and have a proper drink without worrying about getting home on public transport or expensive taxis. Not sure we could talk the Eastern Suburbs/Inner West crowd into it though

I was just going to start a thread to see if there were any MNers in Sydney - I was inspired by those organising the Adelaide meet up - and I came across this thread.

You seem like the people I should get to know as you appear to be able to get wine for $2 a glass!! I'm in Balmain but would happily travel far and wide if there is cheap booze to be had
