Urgent question re Paracetamol in France

I've got an unexpected trip to Paris tomorrow and want to stock up on paracetamol suppositories for dd while I'm there since our GP won't prescribe them due to cost. Does anyone know what brand names I should be looking for? Are they over the counter or on shelves? Chemists or supermarkets? I have very basic French so not confident about asking!

You'll need to go to a "Pharmacie" (look for the green cross) and ask for "suppositoires doliprane" over the counter. Not sure how old your dd is but it exists in different strengths.

You have to go the pharmacie ( they are everywhere- if you look down any major-ish road you'll see several green neon crosses).Yep, Doliprane suppositoires- you will have to give her age/ weight to the pharmacist.
You have to ask the pharmacist, as they are over the counter.
Also, weight is more important than age- so make sure you have a look at the front of the box where it tells you who is it for, just to be sure.

As above posters say you will need to go to a chemist and ask for them but will be given them over the counter.

They are dosed according to weight.

It is entirely possibly that a single chemist will not want to sell you a lot at one go.

Most common brand is 'Doliprane'.

Another brand is Efferalgan.
