Moving to Tokyo - advice needed please

My DH has been offered a job in Tokyo - I really would love some info about what it is like to live in Tokyo with kids (we have one three month old DD), where are the best areas to live, what activities are there to do with kids during the day when DH is at work, generally what is the lifestyle like.

Any good websites to look at would be great too...

Hi Tanterose, thanks for replying. We are coming for a visit on Saturday and staying a week - I have LOADS of questions but a start is:

• Do they have cots for babies over there, wondering whether to ship mine
• is it too crazy busy to push a pram so I need a baby carrier instead
• what is the Japanese attitude to breastfeeding, can I do it easily when out and about
• we will be eating out next week - are kids generally allowed in restaurants
