I'm planning a trip to Switzerland, just for a couple of nights that I won on here.
I'm thinking of 10th October as I need a bit of time to save some spending money and to renew DD's passport.
What can I expect weatherwise then? We'll be in Villars Gryon.
I'm restricted to weekends as I should be srarting a new job, but don't know what days yet and of course I don't want to take time off so early on and some weekends are out since we don't want to miss an F1 weekend. (Huge fans)
Thanks

Hate to say it but it could be rotten weather or glorious sunshine. Also you may find it overlaps with their half term break(roughly the first or middle two weeks). September is more reliable, Novemebr can eb really grim. They do televise the GP there too btw !

We have to go by the last weekend in October.
I know they televise it, but I don't want to spend the time in the room watching it!
I know it's a bit sad, but we really are huge fans and would rather make the most of the holiday, than watching TV.

I'm not sure how long we'll have yet, or how much say I have in flight times. It may be that we'll just have one day, or almost three. The prize is for two nights, and I have to confirm this week.

Thanks for your help though. We'll take warm clothes.

Lucky you, that was a great prize.

I agree with Lizs, could be fab could be rotten weather.

We arrived in CH last year in October and had a glorious first couple of weeks, sunny and warm.

Bear in mind that everything closes on a Sunday too (except church's) and train station shops.
