Calling MNers in Belgium!! Where can I get some furniture?

Dad's over at the mo, and wants to go out tomorrow to get a sofa and chair. The only (not too expensive) place I can think of is Ikea, which he's not very impressed with...

Any idea's??

Are you in or near Brussels? You could try the Habitat in Woluwe shopping centre or there are a few furniture shops out near the Ikea in Zaventium. HTH

There's an modern Asian furniture shop on the drag near Ikea.. up from the toyshop I think.

Leuven might be better than Brussels?

Leen Bakker has some reasonably priced stuff, there's one of those near the Zaventem ikea too.

There's a new shop called Bois & Chiffon in that row too. It is definitely NOT cheap, but has some lovely, lovely things. I had a --drool- wander round at the weekend and felt most depressed afterwards. Ikea it is then.
