Any Californian Mumsnetters out there who can help me find a gift site

I'm trying to buy my MIL a bay tree online that can be delivered to her for Christmas. She lives in California.

I've searched on google but all the sites I can find just cover flowers. I can find loads of sites offering this in the UK. Can anyone point me in the direction of a US site that delivers bay trees or similar and help solve my Christmas dilemma?

Thanks in advance

No idea if they have bay trees, but this is a good gardening site based in America:

Looptheloop, you may have more luck ringing her local/fave garden centre and paying over the phone. We had plants delivered to family in the states in that way.

Thanks for all your ideas. She lives outside San Fransisco. Will try the idea of ringing the centres direct. Failing that, I will have to send wine which will make FIL very happy!!!

Whereabouts? The garden centre we used was in Berkeley, just outside SF.

I think it was this one here although it was 4 years ago so I can't be 100 per cent sure.
