wooooohooooo!

Do you think it was our MN campaign that did it?

But wait!

Remember that the Lindt family just left Germany to live in Switzerland?

Look at the list of countries that M&S will deliver to:

Australia, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, Spain and the United States.

Suisse: NON, NEIN, NO

I want to move back to Germany. Or find a friend in France soon

how far from the boarder are you? do you have friends on the "other side?"

MmeLindt · 13/11/2008 16:18

Well, if I go to down the hill at the bottom of the garden, I am in France. Do you think they would deliver to:

MmeLindt
Bottom of the hill
where the boggy river is
near Lake Geneva
where the locals walk their dogs)
France

I think it would get to me.

OP posts:
belgo · 13/11/2008 16:20

why not belgium?

MmeLindt · 13/11/2008 16:24

Composing my letter of complaint at the moment. Shall we do a joint one?

Tis a bit strange, actually. Why have they chosen these countries and not other Eurozone countries. I can understand Switzerland, lots of companies don't deliver here as we do not have Euro.

OP posts:
belgo · 13/11/2008 16:26

it would be fatal for my bank account if they did deliver here!

belgo · 13/11/2008 16:26

I don't know why not Belgium, there are loads of expats here.

MmeLindt · 13/11/2008 16:29

Loads here in Geneva too. We actually have a tiny M&S in the town, just clothes though, and only for women. I would love to get kids clothes from Markies.

Next deliver to France and Germany now too.

Gipfeli · 13/11/2008 16:39

Ah I was nearly excited then!

But then even if they did deliver here, I'd probably not use it because of having to then I'd have to pay the customs charges and admin fees etc.

Bubbaluv · 13/11/2008 16:41

Can I ask what it is that you miss from M&S? Clothes? Food? Was not raised in UK so feel I am missing something. I like their ready meals, but can't imagine they are shipping them to Aus!

Gipfeli · 13/11/2008 16:46

For me, it would be tights. Bizarre I know and of course I can buy tights here but they never seem quite right.

belgo · 13/11/2008 16:48

the long skirts and long sleeved tops. And some of the food.

MrsMills · 13/11/2008 16:53

oh god yes tights, and knickers.

I still get a pack of 6 knickers every year from my mother for Christmas, this has been a regular thing for about 30 years!

MrsMills · 13/11/2008 16:55

and Percy Pigs of course.

DELIVER TO SWEDEN YOU SWINES

Sazisi · 13/11/2008 16:56

Still don't deliver to Southern Ireland either
And I got so excited when I saw this thread

Sazisi · 13/11/2008 16:57

crumpets

TheGabster · 21/11/2008 18:30

knickers!

basic short person clothes that don't go out of fashion

raspberry filled iced fingers of course

extremely chocolately rolls

can't justify the delivery charge for the clothes and am out of luck on the food

Alexa808 · 23/11/2008 10:27

MrsMills: PMSL

What about Singapore?????????????????

Arghhhhhhhhhh......................

FleurDelacour · 23/11/2008 14:15

No luck- they won't deliver to Singapore. I suppose it is because there are some M&S stores here. Trouble is they carry a tiny range, it is very expensive and the sizes are all wrong. They do sell Percy Pigs though .

SuperBunny · 23/11/2008 18:23

REALLY? FAB news. I'm so happy!
