I thought Biden's teary eye when he mentioned that tragic accident that took his family was a bit orchestrated and a cheap shot.
Also he might have lost a few viewers when he got technical about amendments and how to pass a lot, but he would get my vote.

She is articulate but shallow. And can someone tell her that it is nuCLEAR rather that nuCUlar weapon? Or was that part of the folksy dubbya mimic game?
Why Oh why did they have to choose this woman. For lack of better candidates?

PS: I am not a US citizen so feel free to tell me off.
But would be interested to hear your views.

They chose this woman to attract all the Hilary supporters that aren't going to vote for Obama because he knocked her out of the race.

No I didn't watch the debate, and I am a US citizen. I can't watch her. I think she's the only politician I find to be more evil than Bush.

My only comment to make everyone smile. Tonight were probably the quickest Parent Teacher conferences at an elementary school I've ever seen . Surprisingly enough they all finished in time for all teachers to get home to watch. I wish I could vote, sadly not yet a citizen. I must say I do find politics here very very in your face and the language they use against each other outrageous. I thought politics in Europe were bad.

Fuck. I forgot.

How can anyone compare an intelligent, albeit manipulative ,woman like H Clinton with a puppet like S Palin?

alipiggie · 03/10/2008 04:08

Oh and they bumped Grey's Anatomy

SuperBunny · 03/10/2008 04:18

When's the next one? I need to write it on the calendar. Did you see, they think they have found Steve fossett?

dooneygirl · 03/10/2008 05:09

Have they found him? Last I read it was the plane and ID and such, but not him, but it was much earlier today.

dooneygirl · 03/10/2008 05:10

I was typing my first post right before I ran out the door. What I meant by evil was actually stupider and more closed-minded.

SuperBunny · 03/10/2008 05:15

They found remains

oh no I forgot - well not quite day time viewing here in NZ and thought it would be televised but no - some sky channel I guess. Will have to catch it on the news in 1/2 hour. Highlights are never the same though. On NZ news this morning they showed US polls showing that 37% (might be a few % out!!) of republican voters had changed their votes since Palin had been put forward as Vice-president. Who knows what is going to happen and yet we all are affected.

I heard too they had found remains of Steve Fossett.
