Baby birth announcement cards in Singapore?

Alexa808 · 30/09/2008 05:16

If all goes well I shall need them from Thursday on. Please keep your fingers crossed!!

DH and I looked online and in a few stores but haven't been able to find nice birth announcement cards.

We'd be willing to commission them:

x & x are delighted to announce the birth of xxx

in simple, elegant style, nothing flashy.

Any ideas? Or online stores you could recommend which deliver to Singers?

Babysayshello.com. It's a uk site but will ship. You can choose from a whole range of cards, with or without pictures. They are very simple and elegant.

Or Smythson of London for a very posh experience.

Good Luck for the birth! Remember to keep an announcement card back for your keepsake box.

Been out of Singapore for a year now, but Peritwinkle are based in Singapore and used do all kinds of nice cards and can print too. Website here www.peritwinkle.com

Other suggestion is Tango Mango in Tanglin Mall - do they do printed stationery?

why??

I was delighted to find an m and S in Singapore when we were on holidays as I desperately needed some maternity bras and I was sooo pleased to be able to get them and enjoy the rest of my holiday in comfort.

I used to use a printers at Chinatown Point on the 2nd floor I seem to recall.

They were very good

Sorry eidsvold: thought you were joking with me. I didn't know M&S had any cards on offer here. Which M&S did you go to?? Just bought 2 nursing bras and granny pants there an hour ago (Wheelock Place). Dammit. Learned something new.

Thanks ShinyPink: I'll keep that address!

Hi Alexa - oo exciting. You are the 5th person I know to have had a baby in 2 weeks.

Can't really offer any advice, but saw some announcements in the card shop in Tanglin Mall. One upstairs, not Tango Mango - Gifts and Greetings or something. NOt sure they are quite swish enough for what you are after.

You can give my friend a call - text me and I'll give her your no. She imports cards from the UK and sells to shops here. She will def def def have some..you could go to her house maybe and choose!

egypt · 01/10/2008 06:44

wouldn't be printed though, you'd have to write on them

egypt · 01/10/2008 07:47

oh, she said Tango Mango is best bet

Alexa808 · 07/10/2008 13:16

Hi egypt!

Thanks a lot. Just back from hospital. It's a girl, a cute little snuggles. Still can't believe I'm a MUM!!!

Will contact you as soon as I can walk properly again. Hv posted in birth announcements. x

Must get in touch with slim, too.
