She's not wrong. You can clock someone and think mmm, great bag, but after you've walked through the city for an hour at lunchtime you've seen 30 other people carrying it. It's all vast chain stores that have over-saturated the market or very expensive tiny boutiques.

I am planning to clean up when we move by buying the whole Comme des Garcons for H&M collection (released the day before we leave China) and flogging it on eBay as soon as I arrive in Sydney.

What does she wear and we can rack our brains for places to send her? Bondi markets in particular can be good for designers who are too green to be able to afford retail space (or it used to be - have been away for years now). I think Tsubi and possibly even Akira Isogawa might have started life there.

boden 0- have had stuff delivered to NZ
other than that actualy it's quite crap. I have bought things on UK ebay but mostly now I look at Trade me (NZ equivalent of ebay) for UK brands and get stuff via there. not v.reliable of course though, you have to wait til things come up.
think Oz has ebay too?

I am going to Melbourne next week and am salivating at the thought of some new shopping action. they are Ok here (suprisingly so in fact) but I do need a change.

there seem to be Jigsaws in oz but I expect they're eye wateringly expensive. will report back after next week

MrsJohnCusack · 26/09/2008 03:14

oh but my sister went back to London in MAy and said she was completely freaked out by the choice and didn't actually manage to buy much at all - she was intending to do lots of shopping - but it was too much

i meant to sya Boden DO ship
and by crap I mean most shops don't ship

Top Shop also deliver to Oz (as well as Dorothy Perkins and Boden, as already mentioned)
