Kindergarten is UK Year 1(5-6 yo), Gr 1 Year 2 (6-7yo) etc

It's not referred to as G1, G2, etc.

It's usually referred to as 'First Grade, Second Grade, etc.'

Kindergarten is a bit like reception, only they don't usually start 'kinder' till they're 5 and 1st grade at 6.

I'm OK, moon, thanks for asking!

A little stressed waiting for the LEA to approve an extra year at a private nursery with an SEN unit attached for DD1, where she can also receive her SALT and OT in house.

But otherwise, just looking forward to the birth and then being able to eat a whole meal without feeling sick (the baby is sitting very high).
