dont get me wrong, i love the Caribbean. I am currently living in Dominica 🇩🇲 and i love it. But the Caribbean got one disadvantage. It’s close too close to the US.
which means in crazy scenarios where the US has a civil war breakout, we are the ones who gonna have influx of Refugees.
another thing. Mexico is right there. There are cartel violence there.
south America is not too far.
forgot to mention how the US have bases all over Central America.
which means, the Caribbean is a drug smugglers route and US military route.
so we are surrounded.
and at worst, if there is a nuclear war breakout, we not gonna get hit but we will still feel radiations and nuclear winters.
in the South Pacific, people are well isolated.
people who live in places like New Zealand, Tahiti, New Caledonia, Fiji, Samoa 🇼🇸, Wallis and Futuna, Rarotonga ECT.
if the world falls apart they are safe 100 percent.
