Which school in KL, Malaysia

My husband has interviewed for a job in KL and has been told he's gotten it, but we're waiting for details of the final package.

In the meantime, I'm doing some research on schools in KL so I can gauge price and where to live. We have a 3 year old daughter who has just started nursery in the UK.

So far I'm thinking we might go for either Alice Smith or Garden International, based on their reputations and the areas around them from a where to live pov (Mont Kiara and Bangsar). But they are very pricey.

So I guess my questions are:

  1. Are they worth the money?
  2. Which would you choose if those were the two options?
  3. Are there any more reasonably priced british curriculum schools that are just as good, and could you indicate where you'd live in relation to them?

Also bonus question:

  1. What would you consider a reasonable salary to move to KL?

Thanks!

If it’s not too late. Join the FB group Two Fat Expats. Expats from around the world and plenty in KL. Post there and you’ll get plenty of info.

For a 3 year old you don’t need the premium British Schools. International School Park City and St Joseph’s are both good too

Nexus is also good but a bit further out
