We are a bilingual family (DH is English, I am French), and have been living in the uk for the whole of our sons' lives. The boys (13 and 15yo) speak French but are not good at writing/ reading and have never used is academically.
DH just got a job in Paris, and we are considering moving there from sep. 2026. I looked at a lot of sections internationales but an worried that even with the extra English they will not cope with the French aspect of the curriculum, especially since they would be starting 3eme and 1ere (year 10 and year 12). Has anyone ever done this successfully? We don't want to ruin their last years at school, but at the same time don't want to miss an opportunity to widen their horizon.
