GPS are private in Ireland so they’ll pay 60-90 Euro every time. If they are with a big company though they will get private health cover that will pick up done of that cost. Access to private health is as good as the UK. I hurt my neck recently and had private MRI the very next day (under insurance). GP, physio and prescriptions only partially covered so the episode still set me back about 150 euro.
