After 10 days in singapore with 24/7 kids in the same room/vicinity I will be in desperate need for some socialising (myself over vino and kids for some playmates!)

no idea yet. Will be in Ryde for 4-6 weeks temp accommodation but then we'll be looking somewhere North Shores that's affordable, on commuter link and has good schools. Don't want much do we ;)

Ha, sounds about the same as our wish list! Desperate for Lane Cove, but I'm not sure we can afford it (in fact, fairly sure we can't!).

We are in Mosman. Unfortunately my DS is a bit too little to be much fun for your two to play with. He is nearly 1. I, however, am always up for a glass of wine or two.

Have you been here before? Do you know people here? We have been here for 4 months and are loving it.

aquasea had typed my message earlier and then the internet timed out at the hotel argh... now at Singapore Airport and they have free internet access!!!

Anyhow... I've been to Sydney on hols and dh has lived there about 10 years back. Have a friend there but him and his partner have no kids. They're good with them but still I count them as 'different kind of friends' iykwim

I will need some friends for dd and ds as I'm no good entertaining them 24/7!

Will be off line for a couple of days now but will check back as soon as I can
