Maternalle school ixelles

Hi I’m moving to Brussels with my 15 month old daughter and husband, and we are looking at a house in chatelain, ixelles. Another house we are considering is in Chant d’oiseau. Would you have advice on this area and on maternelle schools . Thank you

Your best bet would be to join the Facebook group "Belgian schools network". There are lods of Brussels based people on there who can advise on schools. To be honest though, you probably can't go wrong in those two areas as they're both pretty nice bits of Brussels.

If you go for the Chant d'Oiseau house, look at Ecole Singelijn opposite the Woluwe Shopping Centre. My DD went there and it's a super school. I also prefer the area to Ixelles if I had the choice. I lived in Ixelles twice both times on the Cambre side of Avenue Louise and far prefer the Woluwe area.
