What is your day-to-day life like as an expat in Singapore with DC?

We have a chance to move to Singapore with DH's job. One DC aged 7. Anyone living over there willing to share your experiences of day to day life? How did your DC handle the move. How did you find a new social circle? Can you tell me about your experience of healthcare? On one hand, it sounds like an exciting opportunity but on the other hand, what if it's a huge mistake and DC hates it. I'd be grateful for any perspectives.

Sorry completely missed this - I have DD7 and DD10 the younger one found it much easier to move than the older one - but that’s also personality

The DC are both at an international school, they moved from a UK state school so it feels very bells and whistles vs what they used to have, potentially not as academic tbh for the younger one

Both me and DH are working so I can’t speak to the day to day beyond life continues - we have found it hard both working to build a new social circle tbh

Healthcare - we have an international policy via Cigna, good quality hospitals and healthcare experienced so far
