Anyone in Europe not receiving post from the UK?

That's it really. I've been expecting three important finance related things in the last month or so and they haven't arrived. I've checked with the organisations and they were sent to my address, but they simply haven't got here. I'm in an EU country.

Anyone experiencing the same?

I've recently sent letters the other way (EU to UK) and it's taken over 3 weeks to get there

Hi OP, I'm in the UK, and speaking with neighbours, we only seem to be getting one letter delivery a week.

I'm in Italy and having no problems - bank stuff and magazine subscriptions.

The tracking might not work between Royal Mail and your current country. I sent one of those prepaid boxes to Italy and the only information was “package received” and a warning message of no tracking available.

That then gave Italy’s postal service permission to be as slow as they liked!
In the end it took 10 days which wasn’t too shabby.

Personally for important documents between countries I use DHL.

I’m in Portugal and post is really slow. I know several birthday cards were posted +/- 3 weeks ago but so far only one has arrived - 2 days late for the birthday

I've given up sending cards because if they arrive at all they take a month to reach Ireland, and whether they ever reach Australia or the US is uncertain. I also only receive post maybe twice a week, at unpredictable times - often I receive other people's post and mine goes missing. Basically I think the UK postal service is being run down to nothing.

I have a magazine subscription from UK (work industry related) and I just emailed them today because, again, the last two months issues didn't arrive. In the last year only 7 of the 12 arrived.

We get plenty of post from the uk (to Switzerland) within about a week or so from all different companies and personal mail

There is one big exception, also finance related from ReAssure. They never arrive. It used to be that they would arrive several months late and I would see that they had not paid the right postage. Now they don't arrive at all. I keep messaging the company and occasionally get through to someone who re- sends it all. Then it just happens again.

Which reminds me - I am expecting some money from them. Must get in touch again .
