question for mums in Australia

When do the summer sales in Australia start? DH is heading to Australia in a weeks' time and I am hoping he will get a chance to stock up on long sleeved rashies for the kids.

Are there any shops that are particularly good for this sort of stuff?

Thanks

Try Kmart or Target.

I think you've just missed them. There are lots of ad-hoc sales during the year, so your DH might be in luck.

Where is he flying to? The Cancer Council have lots of rashies in stores all year round, whereas the main stores are now stocking up on wintery stuff. He'd probably be in luck with main sporting stores too.

DH will be in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, I think - will get him to check those recommendations out.

Are there Cancer Council shops all over?

Thanks

I was in Target last week and they had a load of swimyear reduced to half price or less. You might be lucky at there, Kmart or Big W.

the local target, big W and Kmart are having clearance sales of their summer stuff - or they were when I was in there last week. Did not see rashies but I would be inclined to buy cancer council - www.cancercouncil.com.au/editorial.asp?pageid=169 list of them in NSW for your dh.

When we arrived in Australia last January, rashies were all but impossible to find. They are on special in Sainsburys here at the moment I think.
