Where should we move to?

DP and I live in London. Whilst it’s great, we are ready for a change of scenery.

I currently work as a lawyer in banking. DP works in risk at a bank. He grew up in Hong Kong (expat).

Where can we move to? Our primary goals for moving are to be outdoors more, and to have a better work life balance. We also would ideally like to save money as currently it’s hard to do with London’s tax rates.

Would your DH consider a move back to HK? it seems to tick a fair few boxes.

Hi, we are in a similar position, but returned from Singapore. The UK is pretty big compared to HK, so what's your budget, where are you connections/family, do you want to live in England? South or North. They are all very different areas. I agree about the UK tax rates especially when you can't see what you're getting for it, but I do think as bankers, you might be best off in London?

What languages do you speak? Or is this basically a New Zealand /Australia /Canada /USA decision?
