Just looking for suggestions / connections...
I used to work in the charity sector: front line support for vulnerable groups, rape support, suicide and self-harm helplines, homelessness, street-based sex work support, Samaritans, etc. etc.
I've lived outside the UK for over 10 years now and currently based in Spain.
I'm missing being able to contribute to these kinds of organisations, and I've been looking for ways I can do direct support online. I've talked to charities that teach literacy in prisons, tried to look into Women's Aid helpline work, but (understandably) it's really hard when I'm not UK based.
Has anyone got any ideas on things I could do from outside the UK? My Spanish isn't strong enough to manage the nuance of support work here yet, so I'd need something I can do in English for now.
