Where did you if the weather got you down?

I can’t handle these grey skies!

If you left England because the weather was too much, where did you go and what did you do for work?

Sydney. Not just for the weather, DH and I met there and always wanted to go back, but tbh the weather in the UK (and where I grew up in Europe which was similar) always left me feeling pretty low. There is nothing like the vastness of a blue Aussie sky to make you wake up happy (but I’m sure the usual suspects will be along soon telling you about it’s “lack of culture”, spiders, how they could never live here etc.😂).

We got in on DH’s IT job but tbh post COVID there is a real shortage of workers so I think the occupations in demand list is really growing. We have been here for 15 years and our three kids regularly say how happy they are that we made the move.
