we moved back to the U.K. from California this summer after a decade there. 14yo DC1 seems to be adjusting well and on the whole so is 10yo DC2 but they’re very homesick and really miss their friends especially their best friend. When they sob and sob I just feel so horrible. I know it hasn’t been long, and they are making good friends in their new school but it doesn’t make it any easier. They have a birthday coming up this week and I think that is making the homesickness worse.
any thoughts or help or tips?
