Arfishy, chloe and anyone else whose little one starts tomorrow or beyond.

Are you ready?

I have dd's 3 bags packed!! Yes three - one is school bag, one is library bags with books etc and the other is bag for pullups etc in case of accident.

Just need to lay uniform out and pack lunch in the morning.

Oh god - I am so nervous about it all.

She woke me up at about 5.30 this morning saying big school, PREP!!! then looked very when I said tomorrow not today!!!

She is dead keen.

Sniff....have just waved DS1 off on his first day in Preps. He looks so tiny...but that's because his uniform is a size 6, so his shirt seams are down by his elbows
The house seems so quiet. What on earth do i do for the rest of the day?????

hello, sorry been totoally flat out thius week between midwife appointments and school! (and the neighbours from hell). still DD has enjoyed her first week. She is a little disapointed with the lack of doing anything new? She has been in nursery since she was 9 month old so play doh and painting is a bit like old hat! still she has made one new friend and fallen out with her original friend.. because he told on her at quiet time for talking. she doesnt do quiet time! well she has had fun at least! Shame they dont get a chance to learn anything like reading or writing as DD is allready able to write several words and her reading although limited isnt bad. The teacher is nice but tied up with red tape stopping her from teaching any of it! well.. the sport is fab and the social. lovely school.
