Ive always had a little dream of buying a small place abroad, either Italy, Spain or Portugual. I look sporadically on rightmove at the overseas properties
However that dream is out of the question for Spain I know due to the need to invest 500k I think
We need to be visiting Spain several times a year so I still think about buying somewhere that way, so perhaps Portugual near the border and preferably at the Northern end of Portugual
Is it feasible now with the travelling restrictions, you cant stay more than 3 out of each 6 months so we couldnt just come and go as we pleased we'd need to keep an eye on the dates
Plus without being a resident, which we wouldnt be, how would you get water/bills/taxes etc paid?
Is it doable or should I just forget it now. And Im also talking quite a cheap place, about 50k or so without needing too much work
