Anyone living in Cyprus or thinking of moving from the UK to Cyprus?
Visited many times all over the island and we got married there, now thinking of a holiday home initially followed by a permanent move in the future.
Where do I start? Which websites are best to search for properties?
How do I know they are genuine sales? Papers includes? Title deeds? Solicitors etc...
All help, info and top tips much appreciated.

Live here at the moment but in rented house. Be very very cautious- papers / title deeds for houses must be seen before you pay any money. Also check for problems in the area, parts of the village next door to me are falling down a cliff and the muktar / council are doing next to nothing.

honestly I would rent first, and make sure you can get jobs / right to stay / healthcare etc. It’s a lovely island but like everywhere not without its problems and it’s a different kettle of fish to live here compared to being on holiday…

Thanks for replying @FrenchFancie
I think we might look at renting first before buying.
Which part of the island do you live? And do you have children attending school in Cyprus?

I may be wrong but it sounds like Frenchfancie is living in the northern occupied part of Cyprus.

We are in a similar position and have started by talking with a Cypriot lawyer - it was a very helpful conversation. It's a complex situation post Brexit. I know Cyprus well having been going there for over 20 years so if I can help in any way happy to do so.
