Any KL residents on here?

We are potentially moving from the UK later this year and now starting to look at schools for primary-aged DC.

I've been looking at the British International School, Garden International School, and Alice Smith. Can anyone shed some light on these schools?

We will be living in Mont Kiara.

We used to live there. My DC went to Alice Smith and we all loved it- brilliant school. I know many happy Garden parents too but the Nord Anglia has more mixed reviews and some people I know took their kids out

Thanks for your response! What was the culture like? Were the parents nice? Lots of interaction amongst the parents?

We're looking for a real community. I don't like the idea of just dropping off at school gates and no coffees mornings or anything.

Hi, I live here and have done for 7 years now. If you’re going to live in mont kiara then surely GIS is the school you should go for as it’s in Mont Kiara. The others aren’t and traffic can be a pain. It’s a great school. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions at all as I remember how overwhelming it can all be!
