Looking for accommodation with pt work

I have a friend looking for some accommodation and potentially some part time work. She is an aspiring International Rugby Player who is joining a UK Championship Team for her development. This rugby team is based in Sunbury upon Thames, so accommodation /pt work locally to Sunbury would be ideal – however she is willing to travel. She will need accommodation from November 28th through to April end. She also has plans for Christmas with her own family who will be in London for the festive period.
She is Africans, very independent and mature & speaks perfect English; she is studying but online to allow for her sport travel and development. She would pay a weekly rent for her room. The ideal scenario is bed and board incl some cash in hand for PT work where her training evenings and Sundays off for rugby games. There are a few Saturday games also. References and endorsements are readily available. Are you a household who wants to help develop International Women’s rugby?

Hi OP- unfortunately this is probably the wrong board for your question as this is for people who live outside the UK. Wishing your friend good luck- my daughter plays rugby and is an aspiring international.

Would au-pairing suit her? That seems like the best fit if she wants board plus PT work in one place.

Yes wrong board entirely! This is for people looking to move overseas from the U.K.
I would post on a local Facebook jobs page. I’d imagine lots of people need casual help in the area be in kids, dogs or horses. There’s always plenty with spare rooms and accommodation.
Have you tried The Lady magazine?

Also I found short term accommodation for work
Might be worth a trawl,

Does she have a Right to Work in UK? A student visa may limit this. Will the club not assist her with accommodation?
