We are heading out to Portugal in November for a few weeks to check it out as a potential place to base ourselves in coming years. We have 2 DC's aged 6 & 9.
Ideally we would need to be close ish to Lisbon but happy to commute up to an hour.
Can anyone advise on any villages/towns to look at on our trip over there? We haven't yet booked somewhere to stay but Cascais has been recommended as an option.
Important things are:
Beach access
Good restaurants
Family friendly
International schools
Is Cascais a good place to start with? I appreciate there are visa / work permit hurdles to jump but we are already working on those.
