What is the cheapest way of sending items to France these days? Just sent a very lightweight parcel via Royal Mail and it cost £10. Are couriers cheaper?

I use Parcels2go.
They are a price comparison site, include RM services and other couriers
You can usually send about 30kg to mainland Europe for about £25-30.

I also use parcels to go. Normally can get about 5kg parcel to France for about £12 and will have tracking and everything else. Far cheaper than Royal Mail.
