DH is going at the start of December, for 24 hours or so, and wants to grab a Wii. Are they easily available there? If so, in which shops?

(He's there for a conference, not sure where the hotel is, will find out.)

It's a video game console, v hard to find in the UK at the moment.

It looks like I'm getting one from the local Woolworths, though, so am ok.

Are you in Amsterdam? I went in September, and liked it, but was startled by how many foreigners there were.

I don't know if this helps (depends how he is travelling) but there isn't any problem getting hold of them in France at the moment although it is predicted.
