Coucou everyone!

I know lots of people in France have already had the weekend lockdowns for weeks but somehow the fact that it is now the whole country, all week is more than a bit depressing.

I know I shouldn’t but I am planning an epic (socially distanced, rule following!) day out tomorrow. Home by 7PM of course!

If there is one I haven't seen it. We are in the Vendee so other than the curfew we haven't really been affected lately. I even went away on a mini break to the coast with my friends last weekend. Planning on doing a lot of gardening this week. DD3 is missing her brevet blanc and DD2 is due to take her driving test next week but for now that is going ahead.
Well I say not affected, our business is at a standstill but the government help is such that we are better off financially than we were for the first confinement.

It's depressing but it was sort of inevitable bearing in mind the figures.

It actually won't make much difference to us as we live in the countryside and OH has worked from home since June. Yes, of course I appreciate how lucky we are before anyone jumps on me!

We went and did a mega shop on Friday as our "local" supermarket is uninspiring at best. Managed to replace my running shoes, get some plants and garden furniture and fill the fridge and cupboards to bursting. No need to go anywhere for a while........EXCEPT.....I bloody forgot to get butter and the nearest shop is 9kms away.

Grrrrrrrrr so annoyed with myself.
