Moving to Jersey 2021

I’ve applied for a job in Jersey and I’ve got an interview in a couple of weeks’ time. I have an 18month old and wondered if anyone has advice re: good nurseries /pre schools on the island and the best way to find rented accommodation. I may not get the job but starting to map out the options etc. Any advice is appreciated Xmas Smile

Hi @FWD1106 do you know whether the job comes with a "license"? If you have a license you will have a much bigger choice of properties to rent, if not the choice is quite limited. I'm not too sure about nurseries I'm afraid, but a lot of the primaries have pre-schools and there are quite a few separate nurseries too. Even though the island is small, the traffic is horrendous so I would take this into consideration.

Have a look on facebook for a Jersey Properties to rent page and this will give you an idea on pricing. Jersey currently has huge issues with Covid19 so I would ensure you are fully aware of what is required before you travel there - the Company with which you are having your interview should be able to advise. This website may also be useful.
