Heading home

Well it looks like we’ll be heading back to the U.K. before Christmas.

Have been in the US for 3 years, thought we’d stay longer, but the current immigration restrictions seem to make that unlikely.

Feeling pretty sad to be leaving but actually really happy to be going home.

Now for all the decisions and especially where in the U.K. should we call home?

Do you have a job to come to and if so where? Or do you need to look for work? If so is your field available everywhere?

Any family in the country you'd like to be within reach of?

Budget? Rent or buy?

What kind of lifestyle are you after? Rural, small town, suburban, city centre?

Any other pertinent info?
