UNIS New York

We will be moving from Paris to New York later this year, and are considering school options for our DS (almost 8). One possibility is the United Nations school (UNIS), it ticks various boxes, including languages (English-French), plus I understand we have priority because I work for the UN. Is there anyone out there who has experience of the school, including the admission process?

Any other bilingual (English-French or English-German) schools we should look at? I will be based in midtown Manhattan, so we would most likely be living in Manhattan, but happy to consider other options too.

I don't know about UNIS, but there's a very well regarded Lycee on the Upper East Side. I think there's also an English/French Kindergarten on the Upper West.
