EIB Victor Hugo

We are looking at spending some time as a family in Paris and would like to find a short-term international school for our primary-school-age daughter. EIB Victor Hugo seems like the obvious choice, but I am gathering from some older posts that there have been some problems here. Does anyone have any current information or advice? Is this school to be avoided and if so, why?

Many thanks

Our 7-year-old son has been going to EIB Victor Hugo since last year, he is currently in Grade 2 (Year 3) of primary. We are generally very happy with the school - the teachers are good, the programme is overall good and our son has been making lots of progress. They get daily French lessons, so that helps a lot with progress in the language, although there are hardly any native francophone children at the school. If I had to pick a weak point, I would say that the after-school activities programme could be better and more diverse - also they have reduced the arts and music classes this year to one hour a week each, but that's not a huge issue with us. As I said, we are happy with the school and would happily recommend it.

Please PM me if you would like to discuss anything in more detail.
