GCC residents - are you worried about current situation?

I’m not, but this past week I’ve been speaking to a few people who have decided to go home because of the US/Iran situation. I know it’s the time of year when people go home anyway, but it’s specifically because of that. Am I naive to think that it’s all bluster and nothing will happen?

We are def keeping an eye on things but if the situation escalated further I'd 100% move home quicker. We currently plan to stay another 2-3 years but can bring this forward if needed.

Thanks for your response. I guess we could move home at the drop of a hat if anything happened, too. We don’t have children here and we rent, so quite mobile.

Ah we have a DD and a dog (who will probably be more of a faff to move!). I don't think things will kick off but I've heard rumors of various attacks and near misses that haven't been reported which makes me a tad anxious. I wouldn't hang about if we needed to get out. Where abouts in GCC are you? We're in Dubai.
