Melbourne Bayside primary schools

Moving to Melbourne with 2 DC, in early primary years. Both kids are ahead of curriculum here and enjoy music, chess, drama, music.
We are looking at Bentleigh area in Melbourne and initially state primary, with a potential private transfer later.
Any views on state primary schools in the area? We are looking at Valkstone, Bentleigh West, McKinnon. Do these schools offer extension programs?

In Melbourne, if you are a government school's zone, they have to take you. All government schools in Melbourne are potentially having their zones re-drawn this year, so think about this when renting/buying.

For extension, go the websites of each school, though bear in mind that what is happening in 2019 might not be on the cards for 2020.

Thanks, I've checked out a few school websites and the myschool/goodschools websites.
Hoping someone may have personal experience of the schools, as we're not sure if we can arrange school tours before renting a place.

If you're on Facebook, try uk mums in Melbourne forum, and bayside hub. You'll hopefully get some good responses.
