Aussie visa application blunder

I am currently applying for a partner visa for Australia. My DH is an Australian citizen (born and brought up there). I am a UK citizen.

We have been married 6.5 years and have 2 children. I have submitted the first part of my application for a partner visa.

When it asked me if I am related to my husband through blood or marriage, I put yes through marriage as I am married to him
It seemed to me a really stupid question as all married couples are related through marriage.
And in the comments box I (rather sarcastically) explained my relation to my husband through out marriage

But now reading an application guide, it says I should have confirmed that I am not related to my husband. As in I have not married a sibling etc.

Will my application be rejected based on this mistake?

I would contact them and say you have realised you have made an error and ask if it can be amended. I would assume if there are any questions about your application it might cause a delay whilst they clarified, it's hardly grounds for rejection. As your DH is an Aussie the process should really just be a formality, getting any kind of visa can be slow going though as they are always so busy.
