Is there anyone living in this area at all? Moved here 2 years ago. Starting to make friends but obviously would love to make more. We didn't have bonfire night here this year obviously because of the fires and the Christmas fair i went to last year has been canceled.

I’ve been here for 15 years - I don’t tend to mix with ex pats in general, but have very good Portuguese friends. Do you speak Portuguese? Are you in a touristy area?

Still learning, my partner is Portuguese so the only friends i have at the moment are mainly Portuguese, im in Lagos so very touristy

Make the most of him and learn as much Portuguese as you can!

Have you been to Portuguese classes? It’s a great way to make friends as well as learn the language.

Already done the classes, i took some via the camera last year and now work with a couple of the friends i made. Thing is they have all kids and i don't . I just want to meet new people similar age to me 32
