Buying a house in Bulgaria/Romania

Given you can get something vaguely habitable for 15k in these countries, my family are considering both for a summer home/holiday home.

We have been to Bulgaria but never Romania. I read about UK citizens returing there.

Has anyone made that move?

I'd hold out until we know what we're getting. Am anticipating some form of transition.
