Student moving to The Netherlands

DD (18) is planning to study in The Hague.

Her student accommodation is an empty studio flat... she does not even get a bed!

Any advice on where to pick up cheap furniture (and get it delivered)? A cheap bike?

What other advice can you give about moving to The Netherlands for the first time and being solo?

We are planning to fly over with her for a few days but we do not know the city or speak Dutch so it will be the blind leading the blind!

The Dutch, from what I have experienced, are amazing with languages and many speak English extremely well so I wouldn’t worry too much about that part Smile
