Just had first viewing on my house rental and I'm freaking out!

I just needed to talk to anyone as DH isn't here and DS is at nursery. Moving to Munich in August for a few years. I'm in charge of renting our house out and the first prospective tenants have just visited and complained about lack of space. I feel pissed off, annoyed and very scared all of a sudden. Call it a mini panic attack over the whole thing.Doesn't help that DH lives in Munich now and I'm on my own - I've not even visited Germany yet, let alone the new house out there that DH signed up for yesterday. OK, I've seen pictures but it's not quite the same.
I feel better already having written that "out loud"...

I had similar except we got an agent to do the viewings after I'd left. It is horrible but it sounds as of you have yet to detach yourself from the bricks and mortar. I also hadn't seen the new apartment except in polaroids, nor ahd dh until he arrived ahead of me(a colleague viewed for us ). It was fine btw . Good luck.

Im not even that fond of this house but it was odd to have it criticised. You're right - it's probably best not to be here for the viewings. Better dash, got another one at 11.30!
Where have you moved to?

We moved to Switzerland (6 years ago now) and back (2 years ago)!

Oooh, there's apparently always a chance that DH's job will relocate once more to Switzerland too! Just had second viewing and feel a little better now.
