OK lets get this sorted?
How does weekend 30 June / 1 July suit? Or if that's too soon 14/15 July?
I know of a decent cafe in Porirua near the swimming pool if that appeals? It has a small kids playspace. Another option could be at the pool itself although not very relaxed for mums to talk!
Suggestions very welcome.

Hi. Kjaysmum - did you mean 30 june/1 july fine for you? Anyone else?

both the 30th and the 1st are fine for me, I have no preference. I reckon the cafe sounds a better place for us to meet than the pool.

No its a new pool about 10 years old I think. Quite central towards the Titahi Bay end of the "CBD" area. I don't think you'd recognise Porirua now! Its all hyper-stores and new leisure centres / cultural museums. The old mall's still hanging in there just.

my Dp was telling me about 'old' Porirua when we were shopping there the other day, not something I particularly missed out on by the sounds of it. I go down quite often it definately beats coastlands for shopping! Anniemac sorry you can't come!

Hi buzybee, sorry only just saw your message, what do you reckon then, I can make it on saturday or would you rather postpone it until we can get a few more on board? If your still keen that's fine, Me and Ds would love to come

kjaysmum · 28/06/2007 21:30

hello buzybee, I shall only head down to Porirua tomorrow if I get a message from you here, ok

buzzybee · 29/06/2007 01:48

Let's go ahead anyway! See you at the Peppermill 10.30am tomorrow. Try and get the table in the corner beside the kids play area. My DD is Isobel aged 5 just started school, but tall for her age. I'm tall too!

Aggggghhhh, I missed this somehow!

Sorry, I can't make it tomorrow - have fun! Count me in for any future ones though. Weekends tend to be busy but if I can be there I will!

kjaysmum · 29/06/2007 08:32

buzzybee, something has happened with me, I'm so sorry but I really need to try and stay close to home this weekend. if you see this please post me this evening. If you haven't posted by half and hour before our meet then I shall come but I'll be on my own and won't stay for long and I'll explain when I see you.

kjaysmum · 29/06/2007 21:29

hi busybee, just in case you see this this morning, I was actually quite relieved when I came on here this morning and you hadn't replied, I'm a bit of a fatalist at heart. It will be great to meet you today and we both have lots of stuff going on so I'm hoping as you only live down the road from me we can help support each other a tad....see you at 10.30

buzzybee · 06/07/2007 07:00

Hi Kjaysmum how are you feeling? Really nice to meet you. Sorry haven't been on MN this week at all.
