We’ve been here a few years, this wasn’t our first T10, but by golly it was violent! Our patio doors and storm shutters are broken ; one window flew open and the curtains instantly blew out, never to be seen again; our balcony ceiling fell down. Water was pouring in from the windows and wall joints.
The noise from the wind was deafening. At one point DS (7) got so scared he hid in his wardrobe and fell asleep in there. 😄 There was a thick layer of dust on everything this morning. I’m just glad the windows didn’t shatter, we could see them arching back and forth in their frames. The ceilings fell down in our building’s common areas and there are felled trees everywhere.
Thankfully it looks like there were no casualties, so we had it much better than Luzon.
