Buying a second property in France

Can anyone recommend a good source either website or legally experienced person who can advise on the current rules around capital gains if owning a second home (one in the UK ) in France?

I am assuming that you don't have property yet. The thing is it is quite hard to make a profit on property in France. If you are buying then capital gains tax is the least of your worries.
